No. Still Safe does not contact police or emergency services. It's designed to quietly alert people you trust when something may be wrong, especially in situations where emergencies aren't obvious or immediate.
Do my contacts need the app?
Not necessarily. Contacts who use Still Safe get alerts as app notifications and don't need Premium. Contacts without the app can get text message (SMS) alerts for missed check-ins and SOS after they reply YES to the opt-in text.
Does Still Safe track me all the time?
Still Safe records your location when you significantly change position, in case your phone dies or something unexpected happens. That location is only shared with people you authorize, and never with third parties.
Is Still Safe free?
Yes. The free plan includes alerts, SOS, scheduled check-ins, safety timers, Live Activities, and up to 2 saved places, with ads. Premium removes ads and adds more customization, route and ETA monitoring, up to 15 saved places, and quick actions. It starts with a 1-month free trial.
