1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Still Safe LLC ("Still Safe," "we," "us," or "our") governing Quiz Maker and its related app, cloud, website, public catalog, connected-AI, and support services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Quiz Maker provides
Quiz Maker helps you create, review, play, and share Study Quizzes and Trivia; practice with Classic, Type Answer, Crossword, Word Scramble, and Match Pairs games; and study Japanese vocabulary with kana, pronunciation audio, and mastery progress. Supported local creation and play can work offline. Account, sync, AI import, purchase, connected-AI, reporting, and sharing features require the conditions shown in the app, which may include sign-in and network access.
We may apply reasonable storage, item, request, cost, and rate limits. Feature availability may vary by device, region, account status, subscription, provider capacity, and law.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms. You are responsible for the Apple Account or Google Account you use with Quiz Maker, device security, sharing links, connected clients, and activity through your account. Provide accurate information and promptly report unauthorized access.
Guest access supports bounded local use and server-metered pronunciation where available. Guest identity does not own synchronized study data, purchases, entitlements, public content, or friend relationships.
4. Your content and responsibilities
"Your Content" includes text, questions, answers, explanations, vocabulary, titles, descriptions, tags, source material, reports, and other material you provide or approve. You keep ownership of Your Content. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to create, import, process, share, and publish it and that doing so does not violate law or another person's rights.
Do not use Quiz Maker to distribute full copyrighted books, tests, answer banks, paid course materials, or other content without permission. You are responsible for reviewing accuracy, answer variants, privacy, and rights before saving, sharing, or publishing.
6. AI, connected AIs, and pronunciation
AI-assisted imports and connected-AI tools produce drafts only. You must review and expressly save a draft. For Study Quiz PDF import, Quiz Maker sends selectable text, not the original PDF or its images, to the AI provider. Trivia can be created manually in the app or proposed through an authorized MCP connection. No AI, MCP client, or backend service grades answers during play.
You may authorize an MCP-compatible AI to use limited tools and scopes. The connected provider has its own terms and privacy policy. A connected client cannot approve, publish, or silently change saved content. You are responsible for reviewing requested permissions, prompts you send to that provider, and returned drafts. Disconnecting stops future MCP access.
AI extraction, moderation, meanings, questions, answers, and synthetic pronunciation may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable. Quiz Maker is not a teacher, translator, certification, professional advice, or emergency service. Verify important material against reliable sources.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play as in-app purchases or auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices, trial or offer terms, billing period, renewal rules, and included benefits appear in the applicable store purchase flow. Payment is charged to the store account used for the purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in that store's account settings.
Entitlements and provider credits are personal, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be subject to product limits. We may correct duplicate, fraudulent, reversed, or incorrectly granted entitlements. Refunds are handled under the applicable store's policies and applicable law.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the Service unlawfully or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- publish sexual exploitation content, sexual content involving minors, credible threats, targeted harassment, hateful or dehumanizing content, instructions for violent wrongdoing, illegal goods, fraud, impersonation, malware, credential theft, or personal confidential information;
- publish spam, keyword stuffing, misleading metadata, low-value duplication, deliberately false answer keys, or content designed mainly to manipulate ratings or discovery;
- bypass authentication, App Check, rate limits, quotas, entitlements, moderation, ownership rules, or other safeguards;
- probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, automate excessive requests, resell provider processing, or gain unauthorized access; or
- submit false, retaliatory, or abusive reports.

9. Moderation, reports, and enforcement
We may use deterministic checks, automated moderation, user reports, and human review to refuse, limit, unpublish, or remove content and to warn, suspend, or bar accounts from public publishing. You may report public content and privately block its publisher. Multiple safety reports may temporarily remove content while support reviews it. Copyright and accuracy decisions require human review.
Moderation is imperfect and does not mean we endorse, verify, or preapprove user content. We may preserve bounded records when needed for safety, repeat-violation enforcement, disputes, or law. Review the Copyright Process for rights-holder notices.
10. Availability, synchronization, and termination
Cloud and provider features may be interrupted or unavailable. Offline changes may wait until connectivity returns. Source images and generated audio are device-local and may not appear on another device. Do not rely on Quiz Maker as the sole copy of irreplaceable material.
You may stop using the Service or delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access, publishing, sharing, provider processing, or the Service when reasonably needed for security, legal compliance, provider availability, cost control, serious or repeated violations, or operational changes. Terms that should survive by their nature remain effective.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL USER-CREATED OR GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." STILL SAFE DISCLAIMS EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
We do not warrant that content, extraction, moderation, audio, scoring, progress, synchronization, sharing, or public results will be accurate, complete, safe, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STILL SAFE AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, PROFITS, OPPORTUNITY, OR SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STILL SAFE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID STILL SAFE FOR QUIZ MAKER DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT. These limits do not apply where law prohibits them.
13. Additional store terms
If you obtained Quiz Maker through the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Still Safe, not Apple. Still Safe is responsible for the Service, content, maintenance, support, warranties, and claims, subject to these Terms and law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
Your Apple-platform license is a non-transferable right to use Quiz Maker on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules, including applicable Family Sharing rules. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce this section. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
If you obtained Quiz Maker through Google Play, these Terms are between you and Still Safe, not Google. Still Safe is responsible for Quiz Maker and its support. Your use of Google Play is also governed by the applicable Google Play Terms of Service.
If these Terms conflict with mandatory platform-store terms or applicable law, those requirements control to the extent of the conflict.
14. General terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and incorporated policies are the agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the Service.
Kansas law governs these Terms without regard to conflicts principles, except where your local law requires otherwise. Courts located in Johnson County, Kansas have exclusive jurisdiction where legally permitted. We may update these Terms by posting a revised date and providing additional notice when required.
