1. Contact support

For app issues, feedback, or data requests, email wparras@stillsafecheckin.com.

When useful, include:

  • your iPhone or iPad model and iOS or iPadOS version;
  • the Quiz Maker screen or quiz mode you were using;
  • the steps that led to the problem and any error message; and
  • a screenshot when it is useful and safe to share.
Protect your study material. Do not email full textbook or workbook pages, credentials, or unrelated private information. The in-app issue reporter includes only the reviewed quiz entry and details you submit.

2. Creating study content

  • Use a clear, well-lit photo with the page lying flat.
  • Keep the visible vocabulary inside the image frame.
  • Review every suggested word and meaning before saving the lesson.
  • Retry on a stable internet connection if processing is interrupted.

Quiz Maker focuses on visibly present hiragana and preserves visible katakana. It does not infer or enrich kanji. AI suggestions can be wrong, so compare them with the source page.

You can create Study Quizzes and Trivia manually. Study Quiz PDF import requires selectable text and sends only that text for AI extraction. The original PDF and its images are not sent to the AI provider. Trivia can also arrive as a reviewable draft from a connected AI. Check every prompt, answer, choice, and explanation before saving.

3. Pronunciation audio

Pronunciation audio is generated after vocabulary review and stored locally on each device. If audio is missing after using another device or restoring study data, Quiz Maker may regenerate it when you prepare the lesson.

Synthetic speech can contain pronunciation or accent errors. Use the issue report available from a quiz question to report incorrect or missing audio.

4. Lessons, quizzes, and synchronization

Reviewed Japanese lessons, Study Quizzes, Trivia, attempts, skipped answers, and mastery synchronize to the account authenticated with Sign in with Apple on Apple platforms or Google Sign-In on Android. Source page images and MP3 files stay on the device.

Supported creation and play work offline. Offline updates synchronize when connectivity returns. Cloud sync, AI imports, connected AIs, purchases, reporting, private sharing, and public publishing require sign-in and an internet connection when the action occurs.

5. Sign in and account access

Sign in with the same Apple Account or Google Account you originally used for Quiz Maker on that platform. If you selected Hide My Email on an Apple platform, Apple may associate a private-relay address with the account. Still Safe LLC does not receive or manage your platform account password.

6. Connected AIs

To connect an MCP-compatible AI, sign in to Quiz Maker, open Settings, choose Connected AIs, then choose Connect. Complete the Auth0 and platform sign-in screens using the same Apple Account or Google Account you use for Quiz Maker. Review the requested lesson-read and draft permissions before approving.

A connected AI can use only the permissions you approve. It can read eligible synchronized reviewed content and propose Japanese lessons, Study Quizzes, or Trivia. It cannot save, publish, or change reviewed content. Open AI drafts, choose Review, check every item, make edits, and explicitly save or reject the proposal.

If connection fails, close the authorization screen, confirm that you are signed in to Quiz Maker, and start a new connection attempt. Expired or used authorization attempts cannot be reused. If a draft does not appear, reopen the AI drafts inbox while online and choose Retry.

To remove access, open Settings, choose Connected AIs, then choose Disconnect and confirm. Disconnecting immediately disables the account link, removes unfinished connected-AI drafts, and does not change lessons you already reviewed and saved. Do not email access tokens, authorization codes, private keys, screenshots containing credentials, or full AI chat transcripts to support.

7. Private sharing and public content

Friend invites work once and expire after seven days. A private content share remains available for up to 30 days. Review the sender, title, type, and item count before accepting. Accepted content becomes your independent copy. The sender cannot see your progress or later edits.

Discover contains public Study Quizzes and Trivia. You can preview, save, rate, or report eligible content. Signed-in users can also block a publisher. To publish your own reviewed content, open its sharing controls, choose Publish, review the public title, description, category, and tags, then confirm. Public listings do not show your identity.

Use Report for safety, accuracy, or copyright concerns. Blocking is private and removes that publisher's content from your results. Read the Community Standards and Copyright Process for details.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases use the native App Store or Google Play purchase sheet. Manage or cancel a subscription from the store account that made the purchase. If an entitlement does not refresh, confirm that the active store account is the one that purchased Quiz Maker, reconnect, and use Restore Purchases in Quiz Maker before contacting support.

9. Data deletion

Use Quiz Maker's lesson controls to delete individual lessons or reset their progress. To delete all synchronized Quiz Maker data, connected-AI links, unfinished connected-AI drafts, sharing relationships, active publications, and the related Firebase account, open Settings, choose Delete Account, and complete the confirmation. Copies already accepted or saved by other users are independent and are not remotely deleted. Bounded purchase, report, security, and moderation records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
